I usually take the Tesco version of this, but I have also tried Berocca. They all aim to do the same thing and that is give you a boost of energy and supply you with the recommended daily allowance of Vitamin C. Now I have been stocking up on these tablets of late, not so much for the Vitamin C element but actually for the Zinc, which is a very important mineral, particularly for men. Males use Zinc up quickly and it is important to replenish the supply of Zinc for all round health. I have actually been taking Zinc to assist with an ear problem that has been troubling me. These tablets seemed a good way to get the dose of Vitamin C and Zinc in one easy to take ... Read the complete review

I love these effervescent vitamin C tablets. They are such a refreshing drink, and I find that the bubbles are really prickly, and will help to give you a bit of a kick-start, without being the sort of overpowering - tickle in the nose variety of bubbles that some carbonated drinks have. I enjoy having one of these mineral drinks on a hot afternoon with a few ice blocks thrown in with the water while the tablet bubbles away. Do make sure, of course, that you let the tab dissolve properly before you start drinking, or you can end up with powdery bits in your mouth, which is not at all nice. Don't worry though, these do dissolve really thoroughly all on their ... Read the complete review

Redoxon Orange Effervescent Vitamin C can be purchased from your local supermarket or pharmacy and costs around £3.09 for a pack of 10. Recommended dosage is 1 tablet daily for adults and ½ tablet for children. You dissolve the recommended dose in half a glass of water, and drink. I suffer from severe eczema, and used to swear by taking one of these every day, as there was a definite link between taking them and the condition of my skin. However, it is also noted in medical circles that large doses of Vitamin C helps the body to absorb iron, and upon further medical investigations and blood tests, it was actually found that I was severely ... I have recently been suffering from really bad headaches. After a few visits to the doctor and some blood tests I was no further forward. My girlfriend suggested using Redoxon as it always picks her up when she is feeling ill. I already take vitamin supplements so I was a bit sceptical that Redoxon would offer much more than any of the others but for a quiet life I gave it a go. The supply I got was 30 soluble tablets. This is a months supply for the reasonable outlay of £4.39. Each tablet gives 1667% of the recommended daily allowance of Vitamin C. This seems excessive but as your body cannot store Vitamin C it is essential that you provide a regular ... Read the complete review

YUMMY! This is the reason I used to love getting colds! So, back in the day, my parents didn't want me to use to this as a substitute to eating fruits that are high in vitamin C, though they probably didn't realise that that would not be a problem as I love oranges, but I was only allowed to take this when I had a cold...which was often... The tablets are in circular shape and orange flavoured...again I say YUMMY. You drop it into a glass of water of normal room temperature, and it dissolves, turning the water orange, so it's kind of like drinking fizzy orange juice...again as fizzy drinks we were only allowed fizzy drinks on occasion, this was a real treat! I ... Read the complete review
