Advantages: I feel better, Tastes good
Disadvantages: Expensive compared to own brand products
I have recently been suffering from really bad headaches. After a few visits to the doctor and some blood tests I was no further forward. My girlfriend suggested using Redoxon as it always picks her up when she is feeling ill. I already take vitamin supplements so I was a bit sceptical that Redoxon would offer much more than any of the others but for a quiet life I gave it a go.
The supply I got was 30 soluble tablets. This is a months supply for the reasonable outlay of £4.39. Each tablet gives 1667% of the recommended daily allowance of Vitamin C. This seems excessive but as your body cannot store Vitamin C it is essential that you provide a regular supply.
The tablets take less than a minute to dissolve. You can dissolve them in as large a glass as you like but I tend to prefer using a relatively small glass so the drink is quite strong. The taste of the juice is quite pleasant. This took me by surprise as I have always found soluble drinks to have a chalky taste. Although I wouldn’t choose to drink this over fresh orange it is pleasant enough as a supplement.
I have now been taken at least one tablet each day for the last two weeks. I have noticed a big reduction in the amount of headaches and the intensity of the ones that I do get. It may be a coincidence but it seems very coincidental as this is the only real difference I have made.
My girlfriend claims that she can only take Redoxon when she is ill as she finds it too strong when she is not. I cannot agree with that but I thought it was worth mentioning. I will be continuing to take the tablets in the hope that prevention is better than the cure.
There are many Redoxon clones on the market. Most supermarkets make their own brands for a fraction of the price. The own brand price is normally just below 5p per tablet where Redoxon costs almost 15p per tablet. The strengths of the tablets are the same so I suppose it is down to personal preferen
ce if Redoxon is worth the extra cost. Probably the main difference I have noticed is that Redoxon tastes a lot better. I suppose it comes down to whether you think Coca Cola is worth the extra cost compared to own brand Cola. Either way I would highly recommend Redoxon as a supplement to everyone’s daily diet.
