My hayfever is terrible, and so I went to see my doctor, who prescribed this. It's an anti-histamine nose spray, which works to stop those annoying allergy symptoms from ever appearing, and can relieve them too. For me, it's really helped relieve my symptoms, and I think the way it delivers the drug right where you need it most makes it a really fast acting help. It sounds a bit disgusting, but you simply insert the nozzle into your nose and press down. It works within minutes for me, and I know it's much better than anti-histamine tablets. I thought that hygiene might be a bit of a problem with this - after all, you do stick it up your nose! - but I make sure to wash the nozzle each day. Also, it's not as if I'm sharing it. The leaflet it comes with is really informative, and gives the usage instructions in a clear way. However, the font is a bit small, and so for many people it may be a bit hard to read. There are also some possible side effects, although the vast majority of people don't get them, and if you have really bad allergies like I do, you'll know that anything is better than suffering. Make sure that if you have any questions about its use you see your doctor as soon as possible. At the moment, this is only available on prescription in the UK, so go and see your doctor if you feel your allergies need treating.
