Scales in General = = = = = = = = My parents used to have some really old scales when weighing ourselves, how-ever they got rid of these about a year ago and they were never replaced. Being very self conscious about my body and weight I like to keep a regular check on my weight to see if it's going up or down. I wanted to purchase some new scales but didn't want to spend a fortune on them. I looked in the Argos catalogue and found a large range of scales, varying in different prices. When I rang my husband and asked him to pop into Argos to pick up a new set of scales on his way home from work, he firstly asked what was wrong with the old ones: "they are not working" I said. I think he thinks that I just didn't like what I was seeing and he wouldn't be too far wrong, but no, they were definitely kaput with nothing showing on the display even after a battery change and me jumping on them certainly didn't help - they simply gave up on me and so the Salter Body Analyser Scale entered my life, the poor thing!
