Finally something that works. I am 38 and have suffered menstrual migraines for over 15 years. For 2 days each ovulation cycle, and 3 days during my mentrual cycle I was curled up in a ball, in a darkened room, vomitting and feeling like my head was about to explode. Missing work and dreading the possibility that a special occasion or holiday would be ruined by the awful effects of my hormone imbalance. A year ago, no doubt due to overuse, my body began rejecting anti inflammatories, including plain paracetamol. I was forced to put up with the monthly agony for 10 months, using only feverfew and peppermint oil to try and relieve the symptoms. Then two months ago I started using serenity cream. The usual prescribed dose each day, and then 2 days before my period was due, I began using an extra dollop on my temples and behind my ear and neck, particularly on the side of my head most effected by the headache. At the first indication of that dull ache at the base of my skull that always precedes the migraine, I applied the cream to the aforementioned area. The sympom disappeared within minutes, and when it recurred an hour or so later, I reapplied the cream. It's been a godsend, and apart from relieving the migraines, it has notably reduced breast tenderness and food cravings. I would recommend this product to anyone suffering from hormone-related migraine.
