Multibionta Advanced Formula vitamins with probiotics are made by Seven Seas who are a well known and respected company. When looking for a good quality supplement to boost not just my own immune system, but that of my family members, I came across Multibionta in the shelves at Boots.

It was many years ago when we first tried these and in those days a pack of 30 tablets would set you back just over £3.50. These days a pack of 30 tablets will cost just a little more than that at around £3.99 and a pack of 60 around £8.49. It makes sense to buy them in packs of 30 tablets to me as there is a small saving of 50p and every little helps.

I have stocked up on 3 packs for winter again this year, as they are on offer in Boots right now. The offer gave me 1 pack out of 3 for free which means that each pack cost £2.66 or just under 9p per tablet. To me it makes sense to buy these when on offer and put them away till you need them.

We still buy them for use during winter time as I feel its wise to build up the healthy/ friendly bacteria in our bodies, as it may help to protect from winter vomiting bugs etc. Well I am saying it may help as I don't want to make grand claims, but I feel it has helped and thats what matters most to me.

I also think they are helpful during winter time as none of us are able to get out in the sunshine much and we aren't consuming the same amounts of fruit, salad and natural yoghurts that we do in summer time. So our bodies do need a little bit of a helping hand, which can be enhanced by the probiotics that are in Multibionta. It is always best to stick to a balanced diet of course, which includes plenty of fruit and vege, but we all know that teenagers can be fickle at times and so these could be seen as a good addition to a healthy teenagers diet.

I am very pleased to see that the product has not been marked up due to its commanding presence as a well respected brand, just to take advantage of its status in the health supplements market. This means that Multibionta are still an affordable option for many people including the elderly who can really benefit from taking them in colder weather.

I have always thought they are great for growing teens. As they never seem to want to eat the right food and stuff in junk food like its going out of style. They are also in contact with crowds of other teens and are much more prone to catching every bug in their paths. So Multibionta with its mix of vitamins and probiotics can be a real help to them.

The tablets are easy to take with no awful taste or strong colouring, they are coated too so they slip down easily with a sip of water. You only need to take one tablet per day and I find its best to take them around the same time each day.

They are not recommended for pregnant women or for anyone planning a family anytime soon. This is due to the inclusion of vitamin A which can prove harmful to your baby during pregnancy.

I would say that we have all managed to pick up less colds and bugs over winter when taking these tablets and will continue to take them for as long as we feel they are offering us something that other products don't.

I am giving them a full 5 star rating as I feel they work for us and thats what matters. Nothing can replace a healthy diet but some things can be an enhancement to one. So I will continue to top up the friendly bacteria in my body with Multibionta and my 5 a day.
