I've been wearing glasses since i was 13/14 and i can't say i was too pleased about it as i thought it made me look a geek, but surprisingly people commented saying i looked nice.

I've been to 2 opticians and the first one gave me the wrong glasses TWICE! But going to these 2 opticians i never felt comfortable and they didnt explain anything to me.

So on i go to specsavers and there instantly was a totally different atmosphere. The staff were really friendly and helped you if you needed it.

The thing i liked about going here was that they did a thorough check on your eyes. They take you into a dark room and its where you have to focus your eyes on the balloon on the horizon.

When i go in for my actual eye test, the optician is really friendly and they make conversation with you to make you feel comfortable. I also found they explain things to you and tell you what things mean. Which tells me they actually know what there talking about!!

When I go for my contact lens check up, they used this new machine which only a few Specsavers have and it is excellent. I explained him that i was getting headaches and eye ache when i where my lenses. So with this machine he told me to keep my eye open for about 30secs and made a little video of what was happening to my eye. He explained that i had dark patched forming on my eye which is were my eye was drying out. He told me how i could prevent this and what usually caused this type of thing to happen.

I was impressed!

Although with my glasses, i went for the BOGOFF offer. When i went to receive my glasses they have put a wrong lens in one of my glasses. When i told her it didn't seem right she didn't do anything about it which i was a bit annoyed about. But apart from that i've have no problems.
