I tend to wear glasses for reading, driving and also when on a computer reading all those Dooyoo reviews and I have always used Specsavers in Milton Keynes to get my eyes tested and to buy my spectacles as I'm more concerned about keeping the costs down, as people do not really see me in my specs I'm not that bothered with having mage expensive designer frames although to be honest Specsavers do offer a designer range that is quite reasonable.

Their shop in Milton Keynes is in the main Shopping Cnetre and is on two floors. Upon arriving for an eye test you go upstairs to a waiting area to check in, then there are a couple of screening tests including the horrible one where they blow air onto your eyes which I hate. Then you are taken into a single room with the optician for the test. I have always found them very professional and not at all rushed, carrying out a number of tests and then making a recommendation. If there is no change they do not go for a hard sell and I have never felt pressurised to taking any add ons.

They also have lots of offers when it comes to glasses, I opted for the two for one which was available on frames over £75, you pay for the most expensive, I was able to havethe second pair as sunglasses for driving which is great. All the frames are arranged in price order and the designer frames are seperate. Once you have selected your choice you then go for a fitting and if that is ok you are given a collection date when they will be ready.

I have always found the service to be very good and the quality of the work excellent. Certainly I cannot see (geddit?) myself going anywhere else.
