Advantages: Customer Service

Disadvantages: High contact lense prices

I have been going to Specsavers for about ten years now. I find their prices for glasses especially good when comparing to other high street optitions and always try to take advantage of the special offers they so regularly advertise such as buy one get on free on glasses.

However, I have recently discovered that the contact lenses I buy from Specsavers (at around £75 for 3 months worth) are available elsewhere for less than half the price under a different name. I have yet to switch but it is certainly worth bearing in mind if you are looking for a contact lense provider.

The customer service I find at my local Specsavers is extremely good, you always feel as if you are being taken care of really well, despite how busy it is. You have someone guide you to the waiting area aswell as after your eye test somebody guiding you to the choice of glasses and then in turn helping you pick your glasses. I always find the staff very polite and helpful.

I'm unsure of the price of an eye test as I have always received mine free due to being a student yet I believe it is relatively cheap and very competative on the high street.

Summary: Well worth a visit
