Advantages: Good range of glasses
Disadvantages: Bad at managing time
I have been going to specsavers since my parents took me for my first eye test as a child. I have always needed to wear classess for reading purposes and always dreading having to go back to the opticians.
When I call up to make an appointment is it easy enough, you can even book eye appointments online if it will be easier for you. I prefer to do it that way.
TThe main issue I have with Specsavers is that every time I have been I have always been on time. Yet I am always sat waiting around for about 30 - 40 minutes before anyone even comes to see me. I find this really annoying as they would no be too pleased if you came late for your appointment and from a customer services point of view - Leaving your customers waiting is always a big No No.
The staff have always been friendly enough and willing to help but it does just seem like they cannot manage their time.
Moving on to a brighter note - the range of glassess at specsavers is great. They seem to cover every target group and even do designer glassess. They constantly seem to have offers on such as buy one get one free.
I think next time I need an eye Appointment I might give a different opticians a chance, see if they keep me waiting very long!
Summary: Poor

- 27/06/09 I would never go back to a shop that kept me waiting - that's just not on. |
