Advantages: Great glasses and prices

Disadvantages: none

I have been going to Specsavers for about 8 years now I started going when I was a child. When I make a appointment it is really easy to do you can also make a appointment on line or go into the branch and make one.

They do all different styles and they do different brand names. When I went in there to get my eyes done in January I got 2 pairs of glasses because it was 2 for 1 which was great for me because I keep one pair in the car and the other at home. You can also get contact lenses there.

The prices there are really good there you can get glasses from £25. If you are a students or over 60 you will get 30% off glasses. Kids get there glasses free the NHS provides free eye tests and free glasses for under 16. The 2 for 1 glasses are from £75 and there are some really nice ones to get.

Most people can get free glasses and a free eye test if they are
Under 16s.
Under 19s in full-time education.
Over 60s.
People (or partners of people) who receive certain benefits.
Holders (or partners of holders) of an exemption certificate (HC2).
People who need certain complex lenses.
People diagnosed diabetic or with glaucoma.
People aged 40 or over who are the brother, sister or child of a diagnosed glaucoma patient.

You'll find a branch in most high streets so if you need your eyes done I would go to specsavers.

When you go there you will have a pre test then you will have the eye test. After that the optician will tell you if you need glasses. If you do need them you can have a look around and see what ones you would like to get. If you need any help the sales assistant will help you find some. Then the sales assistant tells you when you glasses will be ready to pick them up. I go back after a week to pick them up.

The staff there are friendly and helpful. Specsavers is the best Opticians I have been to and I would recommend them to any one.

Thanks for reading

Summary: Specsavers are the best place to go

I think a lot depends on the branch as I believe that most of them are franchised. I have had wildly different experiences across the chain. Nicely reviewed 8^)

I have always found Specsavers, polite and helpful. Haven't yet found a 'cheap' option though.
