Now I do think this company is good value for money but there are a few times they have made messes of my prescription.

At one time i had my contact lense prescriptions and eye tests with this company but brought my lenses from specsavers online. I was going on holiday so needed some more contact lenses ordering before i went. I ordered them over the internet, I told them the correct date that my last contact lense and eye tests were. The just had to confirm this with my specsavers branch in newcastle-under-lyme in staffordshire. I waited a week before i got back to them because i had not recieved anything. Specsavers online said that the branch i used had informed them that i was over due on one of my tests. This was not right, so i rung up the branch and they apparently had not updated their system. I was going on holiday the day after and did not have any lenses to take with me. I felt that this was very poor that they had not updated a test that was over 6 months old.

I then switxhed to having mail order contact lenses with the company. Then just recently they stopped my order being sent out. They said it was because i had not got an up to date sight test. I booked an appointment on my day off, i went to my appointment and it was only then that they realised that they had not updated the system (AGAIN!!!) with my sight test results that i had provided them with which i had done at vision express (because this is where i had my glasses from). So this means that i had wasted petrol, parking charges and time to attend an unecessary appointment.

Additional to this, the staff were not appologetic on both occassions. They all seem quite dim to be honest and dont know what they are doing. I cant say this for the staff that deal with glasses as this is a different section to the branch i go to but i am not really impressed with the service.

Above all this, the contact lenses are good value for money so i cannot complain about this.
