The Spectacle ShopNewest Review: ... as little as £15 including basic lens, and case. P+P is £2.99. However they have designer frames too should you wish. You are able to upload a photo of yourself and try on all the different frames, which is a brill feature, especially for those who can't usually see well enough when trying on frames. However the photo does have to be a fairly low resolution so note instructions or it will not work. The first time I did a large photo and it would not work. Alternatively they offer to post you frames to try on before proceeding. Brilliant I think! Once you have picked your frames, you then enter your exact prescription which you receive f... more |

I have just had my third pair of glasses from glassesdirect.co.uk. I have been really impressed by this company. I only use glasses for driving and cinema so don't wish to spend loads of money on them. I found glasses direct simply via Google, and decided to give them a go. Recently took the step of bypassing the high street opticians in favour of the much cheaper online option. I chose Glasses Direct and can honestly say I will never use a high street optician again. The site was easy to use and easy to order. A good range of frames were available, and importantly for myself it worked out at a very reasonable price. I would reccomend this to anyone. Only drawback is not being able to try them on, although the images they have of the frames are very clear and you can view them in each colour they come ... Read the complete review

www.nuglasses.co.uk This new prescription glasses site seems to focus on glasses which are more fashionable. Their virtual mirror nuYou impressed me, I know other sites have them but I found theirs very easy to use. Also the photos of the glasses were good, very clear. I could see each frame in it's individual colours. They seem to offer a lot more lens and coating options than other sites I've visited. And the customer services people were good, I even spoke to someone on a Sunday! And that's the sort of service I want. The glasses, which I received in five days, were great as well. I'm Impressed and will be using them ... Read the complete review

Delighted with me reading glasses from Glasses Direct. I was dubious at first, but it was easy and cheap. I got a semi-rimless pair in a lovely case of £25.00. Now that I have tried them I will order another pair that I can leave at work. The website was easy to use and the instructions are clear. The glasses arrived within a week and saved me over £75.00 on the price I was quoted by my ... Read the complete review
