I received a sample of Theramed 2 in 1 toothpaste through the post. I get through toothpaste at an alarming rate, as I love brushing my teeth and experiencing that fresh tingly feeling.

Interlude:
A handy tip for those trying to diet: brush your teeth whenever you get the urge to eat. Not only will the minty taste put you off eating anything, but your dentist will love you, too! (unless he/she is a money-grabbing git who treats you purely for financial gain, that is.)

I have always used bicarbonate of soda based toothpastes in the past; they seem to offer a particularly refreshing feeling.

(I know what you're thinking: this girl has a problem. No-one else would get so excited by toothpaste! You're probably right...!)

Back to Theramed.

I have found this product to be outstanding. I was initially a little concerned by the liquidity of the toothpaste, wondering if it could be effective with such a formulation. Once I had the knack of putting it on the toothbrush then hastily shoving the brush in my mouth to avoid losing the Theramed in drips down the sink, I found that it has superb cleaning properties.

Unlike many toothpastes, Theramed doesn't leave a "gritty feeling in the mouth. Instead, it feels as though you have rinsed your mouth in the freshest mountain stream and dried it by breathing in the cleanest winter air.

Oh, heck. I'm going all poetic on you again. Sorry.

Seriously, there is not a lot more that can be said about this product. In a thick liquid form, and available in different flavours (I have seen it in Cool Mint, which is blue in colour, and Fresh Mint, green; there may be others available, but choice in this area is limited!) it has a dual action antibacterial formulation, and eliminates the need for seperate toothpaste and mouthwash. Because of its consistency, it gets between the teeth to give you confidence that your mouth is truly clean. A
small amount goes a long way, too. Even with my obsession with teeth-cleaning, a bottle lasts for several weeks!
