I have always been short sighted since I was young and therefore have had to always wear glasses and when I was old enough then started wearing contact lenses as well as glasses. When I could wear contact lenses I simply just used my optician, suppose because it was easy and the only way I knew how. About a year or so ago my friend asks me how much I pay and I tell her. Vision Direct, 0870 125 6240 or www.visiondirect.co.uk is a great online opticians selling contact lenses and solutions. They obviously cannot do the site tests etc so you need a high street opticians for this but they have lenses at very very good prices. They do all the usual types of lenses eg daily, monthly etc and also have a range of “crazy lenses” such as soccer, cat eye, wolf etc. Also prescription swimming goggles. They have most of the usual makes of lenses and solutions that you will find on the high street and also offer their own makes which are quite a bit cheaper.
