I only started taking a vitamin c tablet everyday about two months ago. Not to boost my immune system, but I was told that it would be really good for my skin (it's vain I know!) About a week after I started taking them, I noticed a major improvement in my skin, the dark circles under my eyes had reduced a lot and my skin looked much ... Read the complete review

Perhaps the most famous vitamin of all is good old Vitamin C. I’m skipping Vitamin B for a while, its too complex….. (that’s about the best I can manage for vitamin based humour so from now on I’ll stick to some really bad Doctor Doctor jokes, if you don’t like them don’t say I didn’t warn you.) ... Vitamin Pills in General The world of vitamin pills is immense. I mean, you can get vitamin pills almost anywhere for any sort of problem. Like the name implies, vitamins are vital. Ascorbic acid, or otherwise known as Vitamin C, is a water soluble vitamin, (along with vitamin B), unlike vitamins A, D, E and K which are all fat soluble. Is this of any relevance? You may be asking! Well yes it is! Within the body we have lots and lots of water, ... Read the complete review

I take a vitamin c tablet everyday and I feel that it is benefiting me a great deal. I must admit that I never bothered with vitamin tablets in the past. I wouldn't say that I thought they were a waste of money but I thought they were pretty much unimportant. It all started when I got the 'flu. I was advised that they ... Read the complete review

Now that winter is on its way we all need to boost our immune systems to help prevent colds and 'flu'. A Vitamin C supplement is excellent for the care and repair of the body, particularly during winter. I personally find effervescent Vitamin C the most effective and tastiest way of taking vit. C You buy them in a tube usually in packs of 10's or 20's, and you simply disolve one (or 2 if you've got a cold/flu or just need a boost) in a glass of water to make a refreshing tasty drink. Most brands do a variety of flavours which ... Read the complete review

If you like to work hard and then spend all weekend clubbing and forgetting where your bed is, vitamin c is the wonder drug. I am a great believer of giving nature a helping hand in the form of additional vitamins and minerals when needed. My grandmother would regularly visit a herbalist and recommend lots of mixtures that were treat with scepticism in my younger days and are now highly respected as diet supplements. Everytime when I feel that I am going to get sick (like flu, cold) soon, I take a tablet of 500 mg or 1000 mg Vitamin C per day and it seems that it is really effective for me. Vitamin C or ascorbic acid is oneof those things that is in food people don't like, ie. vegetables!
