Voltarol Emulgel

A while back I sprained my ankle and after trying all of the usual home remedies of frozen peas and rest I decided it was a trip to the Gps to try & sort it out! The Gp prescribed me new remedy at the time Voltarol Gel Patch. I was familiar with Voltarol tablets which are in the same class of drugs as ibuprofen namely the NSAIDS (non steroidal inflammatory drugs) however I hadnt come across this formulation in a patch that you apply directly to the skin.
