Advantages: Ideal size to take it shopping to find out point values before you buy.

Disadvantages: Nonthing

**** Introduction ****

After starting the weight watchers diet at the start of the year, I have had to change my eating habits completely. I have now adapted a healthy lifestyle by eliminating foods that have high calorie and saturated fat content.

When I first started the diet, I found it very hard tracking what foods i could eat with low point values, The weight watcher books did help but trying to find certain foods and their point values became so hard and by the time i found out what the point content was in each food i didn't even want it.

Shopping was the hardest part as I was trying to buy healthy foods but as i didn't know what they contained from the labels alone, i soon got dis-hartened and bought the foods anyway, Even though the point vaules would be extremely high.

At a recent weight watcher meeting my leaded recommended the points calculator.

**** The Calculator ****

This is a pocket sized calculator that can be carried with you at all times, It not only tracks your daily points but also stores them for a week.

After eating anything you use the calculator to add up the points consumed and it will then store it for the rest of that day, If you undertake and exercise it will also record this for you, making the whole diet tracking process a lot easier.

The best bit for me is the fact that you can find out the point values of any foods, just type in the calorie and saturated fat content press the enter button and it will give you the point values for any foods.

This cost me 8.95 from my local weight watchers meeting, but it can also be purchased online at www.weightwatchers.co.uk for the same price.

**** My Views ****

I have found this to very valuable during my diet as i now take this with me when I go shopping and i can see if the foods I like the look of can be eaten without affecting my diet.

It is a very simple design that is a calculator, point finder and tracker all in one. Whit this little device I cannot stay away from my diet as it keeps me on track all week and lets me know when i have exceeded my daily points allowance so it is easy to get back on track the next day.

When I bought this it came with a battery to it was easy to use straight away, it can be a bit complex to navigate at first but if you read in instruction manual that came with it, it is very easy to figure out.

If you are following the weight watchers point diet then I highly recommend this calculator as following the diet through books alone can be very difficult.

Summary: Recommended for any weight watcher.

Scales are lethal, when trying to diet. Always best to weigh yourself once every 10 days. enjoyed the read
