Advantages: Calculates points values of any food, compact and handy
Disadvantages: None
Im always trying to lose weight and want to lose five stone altogether. Ive been a big Weightwatchers fan for the past few years and i managed to lose two stone following the points system.
I unfortunately put the weight back on and more when i stopped following it (diets are hard!) From today i have decided to start eating healthily again and getting back on track with Weightwatchers points system.
I remember when i went to one of my first meetings seeing the Weight Watchers Points Calculator for sale on the table. It was £7.95 and i decided to buy it as i heard a few other members commment on how good it was.
The Weightwatchers Points Calculator can calculate the points values in food from the nutritional information provided. All that i have to do is enter the calories and then the saturated fat content in any food.
The calculator will then tell you the points value of the food.
This product also works as a normal calculator too so is really handy and is versatile. The calculator is small enough to fit in your handbag and bring to the supermarket.
I like doing this so i can work out the points of ready meals and packaged foods before i buy them.
Using this calculator helps me stay on track more with my weight loss. If you are following Weightwatchers, i would definitely recommend buying one of these calculators.

- 13/10/09 Hiya! It might be helpful to (briefly) explain the Weight Watcher's points' system, as I'm sure there are folk who aren't familiar, and I know Weight Watchers' works for many people.
Me, I found the meetings a bit like a revival meeting - I thought someone was going to jump up and shout AMEN at any minute! In the end, I used www.weightlossresources.c o.uk and calorie counted, rather than points. I also found this more useful, as the 0 point options in WW of course DO have calories, so if you really binge on those, you will put on weight!
But that's me ;) |
