Advantages: Lets you know how many activity points you have earned in a day
Disadvantages: I cant think of any
Having purchased this from my meeting last week and using it daily since I wanted to write a review to say how good it is for those on the weight watchers plan. At the meeting it was £12.95 boxed with full instructions on how to get started.
This pedometer allows you to set your weight, height and your stride (can be set manually or automatically) you can chose this to be in imperial or metric. You set the clock with either 12 or 24 hour clock. Attach it to your waist band and it comes with an additional clip to make sure you don't loose it.
Once you have set your personal details it will then tell you the number of steps you have done, the distance travelled and the activity points you have earned. It resets the count for the next day automatically. It also goes on standby after 3 or 5 minutes but still counts everything. It also has a stopwatch feature.
I wanted to buy this pedometer for a few months but I have had other ones in the past which I didn't find that good so was a bit unsure about buying this one or not, particularly as you can pick one up from your supermarket for a few pounds and this one comes in at nearly £13. However, I am really happy I bought it and it is nice to know how many points you have earned and I aim for at least 3 a day and hopefully saving those points will aid my weight loss or allow me to save a few points for special occasions!
Summary: Really great buy for those of us following the weight watchers plan
