Advantages: Allows you to track the distance you have walked
Disadvantages: bit too expensive
What is it?
The Weight Watchers pedometer counts your steps and the distance which you have walked. It also calculates the amount of points you have earned during your exercise session. It allows you to customise the information by entering your height and weight to give a better level of accuracy. It also features a stop watch.
Whats it like?
The pedometer is good as it makes it easy to measure how far you have walked on a daily basis and keep a track of this over a week. The pedometer will store all your walking information over a week. The pedometer makes you walk a certain distance to reach a "healthy level" before it lets you start to earn points. This is a bit of a pain if you are just wearing it for a walking session and not all day. It is easy to use and has big letters on the screen making it easy to read. The pedometer cost me £12.95 from my weight watchers meeting. I thought that this was a bit expensive for a pedometer but this one has a few more features than a normal one.
Summary: if you can get it cheap buy it!

- 29/09/08 Just a thought (it's late). "Pedo" is Spanish for f*rt, so a pedometer would measure your f*rts!
Funny hour over. |
