LouisDoyle Tesco Paracetamol Caplets: ... terms of pain relief to cost ratio, these caplets are the best you can get. They are cheap at on 32p and are great for pain relief from minor pains. The caplets are a little large and may be slightly hard to swallow without a large glass of water. One advantage of the cheapness of these tablets is that you can have a few packets knocking around the place. Its good to have a packet in the car, in the bathroom, in...

bungle82 4head Headache Relief
... suffer from headaches quite a lot - particularly during the working week (funny that!). Sometimes I reach for the Ibuprofen / Paracetamol but generally I don t because I don t want my body to get so used to pain killers that they no longer work when I really need them for something other than a headache! So I tend to use arnica or 4head (this product) instead as they re natural. 4head and costs just over £5, so it s more expensive than a packet of Nurofen or similar, but it lasts for ages (even if you use it a lot like me!) so it works out to be quite reasonably priced per use. It comes in bright pink packaging and is basically a menthol stick (imagine a short fat lip...

CheekyCharlie08 Tempo Tissues
... usually buy Kleenex Balsam when I need tissues but yesterday I was stuck with the local mega expensive chemist for all the supplies I d need to help my cold. They were charging something stupid like £3.00 a pack of Kleenex and I hadn t got a lot of cash on me so I decided to leave the tissues and just use baby wipes and kitchen roll. When I was paying for my stuff though I saw a pack of 8 individual packets of Tempo tissues for just £1.00, making them 12p a pack which is a big difference to the 50p a pack the Kleenex tissues work out at. You get 9 folded tissues in each pack and the tissues are 4 ply so they are strong enough to cope with all the snot you can come up...

CheekyCharlie08 Beechams Flu Plus Hot Lemon
... ve got a stinking cold, I can t use the words that would most accurately describe how I feel on a family site like Dooyoo but I do feel nasty. My mum even shipped my 2 year old sister to my aunt s and banned her mate who s got bad ashma from visiting in case I d got swine flu! Yesterday I went to see the doc though and it s not it s just (in his words): "A very severe cold or mild flu". Either way all he could advise me to take was paracetamol, ibuprofen and cough medicine but I ve already been taking them for 2 days and they hadn t been doing anything. I went into the chemist to get some Lockets and see if I could see anything on the shelf that might help...
