Sudocrem Antiseptic Healing Cream: ... Mum used this on my sister (and I presume me as well as it has been around for so long!) the tub looks exactly the same now as it did when my sister was a baby 19 years ago! And it still works just as well. My daughter has some irritation on her neck creases and a small bit of Sudocrem a few times a day is clearing it right up! She also managed to blister her toe by repeatedly kicking in her swing, the Sudocrem c...

leighsady Tesco Value Facial Tissues
... are a hidden gem at Tesco s, very undervalued and always placed on the bottom shelves - to make way for the other leading brands who have paid for the best shelf spaces, I guess... These are a box of tissues by Tesco s own value brand. They used to cost 36p for a box of 150 2-ply tissues. This already, without accounting for the quality of the tissues, is an absolute bargain in itself, excellent value for money. The quality of the tissues cannot really be compared with the leading brands. Not really as soft and as nicely folded, but in their own league, these Tesco Value tissues do hold their own. These are tough tissues, not that I mean they re like paper - w...

nixtee Lemsip
... ve been feeling awful since I came down with a cold (quite quickly) on Friday after work. I d been tired all week and I think that s why I surcummed to a cold. As per usual, it s totally knocked me. Having searched through cupboards I couldn t find any Lemsip or other cold remedies and felt so rough yesterday that I couldn t be bothered to drive to town to get some. So I sat with a box of tissues and rode it out. Only this morning I felt even worse. So as Dad was going to the supermarket I asked him to pick up a box of Lemsip for me. As soon as he got back, I opened the box, grabbed a sachet and poured it into a mug followed by some hot water. I let it cool down and t...

Tracy_1127 Eurax cream
... usually have a tube of this kicking around for patches of contact dermatitis I get from washing up liquid or from exposing my hands to the sun. I get very itchy scaly patches across my fingers and they itch and burn like mad. I buy mine from Boots for about £3.50 and only usually buy the small tube as it lasts ages. You apply to the itchy patches and rub in lightly (not scratch for blessed relief while applying!) then the cream gets to work. It does indeed reduce itching but I wouldn t say it stops it altogether, and it depends on the cause of the itching in my opinion. It s useless for hives but on my contact dermatitis it seems to be sufficient. It smells odd, l...
