Advantages: Gets rid of headaches.
Disadvantages: Can seem pricey but think of how long it lasts.
I recently bought a 4head stick from a local pharmacy for £6.49 after it being recommended by a friend. I do find I get headaches quite often but refuse to take medicines as I don't like to take too many unnatural remedies.
The 4head stick contains 3.6 grams of product.
As I said I don't like to take too many manufactured drugs and would rather natural remedies so I thought why not give this a go. I did at first think this was rather pricey but when you think about how long it actually lasts, I am not even half way through mine and I've had it about 10 months now.
At first I thought this would just be another item that promises the earth but does nothing, but with my friends enthusiasm I thought I'd have to prove her wrong.
It comes in a box, but in the box you'll find a little stick. It looks like a mini glue stick, luckily it isn't sticky like one, it smells rather menthol, like Vicks. The directions tell you to rub a layer on your forehead and wait.
I did rub this against my forehead and waited, after a minute or so I found my head was tingly, it was a weird sensation to start with and felt like there was a cool gel on my forehead, after this I tried touching it, and you feel nothing, it isn't a 3D gel on your head at all.
After I had got over the gel sensation I realised it had in fact taken the edge off my headache, admittedly it wasn't a really bad one anyway, I just wanted to try my new toy. I then wondered if in fact my mind had tricked me in to believing it had worked when it was mind over matter to start with.
After the first incident, I was over the amazement and started to use 4head whenever I had a headache and it does work, I don't get headaches too often and when I do they aren't migraines or too overbearing but the 4head does work and makes the headache disappear.
I would recommend this product and will buy it again when / if my current one ever runs out.
Summary: Great alternative to common headache drugs.
