Alka Seltzer tablets come in pack of 10, or 20 and cost around £3.55 for the larger pack. They are designed as a cure for headache, hangover, stomach upsets and similar things. Alka Seltzer was invented in Germany in 1931. It contains three active ingredients, aspirin, sodium bicarbonate and citric acid. Aspirin is not recommended for all so the medicine should be taken with caution or from advice from a trained specialist.
