Description: Anadin Extra tablets contain a tried and trusted formulation for fast, effective pain relief. Anadin Extra tablets are for the treatment of the symptoms of mild to moderate pain including:. Headache, Period pains, Feverishness and Toothache.

Anadin Extra are triple action pain relief tablets that contain aspirin, paracetemol and caffeine (so if you are sensitive to caffeine then maybe best to avoid these painkillers). They come in a bright yellow box with the name clearly printed on a white background. They are found in most supermarkets and chemists. They can often be bought from smaller shops too (though may be kept behind the counter as opposed to on the shelves). Once you have opened the box, the pills are popped out from a plastic background, meaning that each one is kept sealed until you need to use it.

The instructions for use are clearly printed on the back, and over 16's should take 2 every 4 hours. Never take more than 8 of these tablets over a 24 hour period. Remember to be sensible, any unexplained pain that doesn't go away within a day or 2 should always be checked by a medical professional (either a GP, NHS Direct on 0845 46 47 or in an emergency, dial 999).

From time to time I suffer period pain and have found that these tablets are one of the most effective things which I can buy. They are also great for an occasional headache, and are quite fast acting (I usually notice a difference within half an hour of taking them). There are certainly cheaper over the counter painkillers on the market, but these are definitely the most effective in my opinion, and therefore worth paying a little extra for.

I definitely recommend these and always have a pack in my bag, just in case. If you haven't tried them and need painkillers from time to time, then give these a shot, they do exactly what they promise. As with all medication, read the label and follow the instructions!
