This product is sold over the counter, especially for the sufferers of Haemorrids, or more commonly known as piles.

Piles have many causes, and surprisingly, people are still very reluctant to admit to having them, hopefully this opinion will help to put that right.

There are many causes for piles, the most common ones being an unhealthy diet, pregnancy, giving birth, and one of the most common reasons is other medication we may be taking, also constipation. Another reason which is less well known is that it can be hereditary, so if your family has a history of piles, you are more likely to get them.

Haemorrhoids, or piles as we shall now call them, are swollen blood vessels which occur inside or outside the back passage, (anus). The symptoms can be mild, so mild in fact that a sufferer can have them without even being aware of it, but others may notice bleeding from the back passage, this is not always the case, but it is a common enough sign.

However if blood is noticed then your doctors advice should always be sought before commencing with any treatment. The most common symptoms are felt as as a lump outside the back passage, which can also be inside the anus.

One of the most irritating symptoms can be itching around the back passage. Too many people try to ignore the warning symptoms out of embarrassment, and as a result they suffer longer than necessary.

It is advised that we should eat plenty of vegetables and fruit, also a high fibre diet is advised. Drink plenty of water and avoid fatty, salty foods.

However, some of us may already be doing this and still get piles, but thankfully there is help to be had, in the form of a simple trip to the chemist and choosing from the vast array of treatments available. The product I have was bought from the local chemist for £3.39, a cheap price to pay for some ease from all these symptom

The product in question is called Anusol and is a cream. It contains zinc oxide which soothes and as it an antiseptic it also helps to prevent bacterial growth.

It also has amongst other things, balsam Peru which is also an antiseptic and has a protective action on sore areas and helps the healing process.

It is easy enough to use, wash the anal area, and dry carefully with a soft towel. Apply Anusol Cream to the affected area at night, in the morning and after each bowel movement.

For internal piles there is a nozzle provided in the box, simply screw the nozzle onto the tube and insert into the back passage, then squeeze gently. Make sure to clean the nozzle after each use.

Like all medicines there can be side affects tell the doctor if you notice any sensitive reactions such as a rash, or burning upon application.

AFTER TREATMENT.

After using this product for a couple of days, I noticed a distinct improvement, the piles had shrunk slightly and the cream had eased the itching. When I first started using the cream, I was a little wary, expecting it to sting, but I can assure you that this pink cream is completely safe and free from any irritations at all ,also free from any noticeable smell.

Another plus is that it does not stain the clothes at all, just dissolves into the skin. If you should need to go out, it can be tucked into a pocket or handbag, it is just a small 23g tube.

This should of course be kept away from children, but can be used if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
