Asda Ibuprofen: Cheap and effective pain relief (548 words)

A few weeks ago I fell on my left hand side and damaged my shoulder really very badly. The strange thing was, there was no outward sign of any bruising at all, but it hurt me so much to so that the simplest of tasks such as drying my hair, reaching up to the cupboards in my kitchen and changing gear in the car with my left hand was pure agony. Paracetamol didn't do anything at all for me and as I was unable to get an appointment at my doctor's surgery, I saw one of the nurses instead. She advised me that I needed to take an anti inflammatory medication as there was some ligament and tendon damage deep inside as I'd wrenched it when I'd tried to stop myself from ...  Read the complete review

Just as good as branded (350 words)

Intro With the sudden changes in pressure due to the ever-changing weather I tend to get quite a lot of tension headaches. Over the years I have come to trust Ibuprofen tablets, but the variance in price is just unbelievable. From the 29p ASDA brand to £2.49 for the same branded ibuprofen. Ripped off again. ASDA Ibuprofen At 29p for the sixteen tablets I think this is great value for money, each tablet is 200mg so should be sufficient to rid you of that nagging pain wherever it is. For a change this is not the usual Smartprice white and green packaging but a rather attractive red and grey packaging. The capsules are easy to swallow ...  Read the complete review

Asda Ibuprofen caplets (574 words)

As I suffer from migraines occasionally I do try and ensure that I have painkillers at home and in my bag at all times so that I can tackle one when it arrives. The only more expensive tablet that I ever opt for is a cuprofen 400mg tablet which is just stronger than the usual ibuprofen. As a rule though I opt for store branded pain relief tablets as I find they do the same job as their branded equivalent for much less money. The product I am reviewing today is the asda ibuprofen 200mg caplets. The caplets come in a red and silver box and it tells us the product name and that we get 16 caplets in the box. There is also dosage information and important ...  Read the complete review

My painkillers of choice. (473 words)

As someone who has always suffered with bad heads and quite severe period pains, the product I will now review for you has been a staple of my first aid kit for many years, with it actually being my doctor that recommended them to me. The product I will now review is - "Asda ibuprofen caplets". These tablets come in a 16 tablet pack, all contained within there own blister pouch, which are more than easy to pop out to take. The reason I prefer these to paracetamol, aside from the fact they are easier to take due to there elongated shape (I have never been good at taking tablets anyway!), is the fact they are more tailored towards ...  Read the complete review

Asda Ibuprofen: Cheap and makes you cheerful (416 words)

This review is on Asda Ibuprofen Tablets and not the Capsules as are indicated in the picture above. I often get bad headaches, probably due to my excessive use of the computer and watching TV! I know it's bad but I do take painkillers quite regularly to get rid of these annoying aches and pains and the branded ones are just too expensive when I get through so many. I never used to be able to swallow pills but I've gradually got used to the smaller ones. I still can't take capsules or bigger pills though which is why these tablets are great for me - they are very small, smooth and perfectly easy to swallow with a quick sip of water. I can't say I've ...  Read the complete review
