Advantages: Cheaper than the leading brand but work just as well

Disadvantages: Cant buy more than two packs at a time.

I have always been one of those people that would rather die than take a tablet for any of my illnesses and although I am still rather reluctant these days, I do actually take one or two if I need to. You see have I two young boys under the age of two and half so if I get a headache then I just can't cope with having a thudding head and meeting my boys needs at the same time. Thats where these tablets come in.

You buy Asda Ibuprofen in in tablet or caplet form and there are 16 tablets in the box which pop out of a plastic holder. Each tablet contains 200mg of Ibrupofen and I am not entirely sure how much they cost as I tend to buy a couple of packs everytime I do a shop online. I've been doing this for years now so don't even bother to look at the price. I do know that they are far cheaper than the likes of Nurofen but still have the same effect. I also know that I can only purchase two boxes of these in one transaction which can be a bit of a pain when you have a husband that eats them like sweets.

We usually buy the caplets as I find them easier to swallow. They don't tend to get stuck in my throat like other tablets and I can take them eaily without water.

The thing I really like about these is not only are they great at getting rid of my headaches but they also have a nice taste to them. If you examine them closely you will see that they have a bit of a shine to them and when you put them in your mouth this dissolves a little and leaves a sweet taste behind.

These tablets are not only great for headaches but if you have the flu, tooth ache or general aches and pain then these will sort you out.

Asda do there own version of paracetamol too but I find that the Ibrupofen works much quicker and is more effective.

I am a breast feeding mum so it's important that I don't take anything that will carry through to my baby or affect my milk flow. I can safely say that my doctor has oked these and any form of ibrupofen and I haven't noticed any change in Elijah when I have taken them.

Summary: A cheaper alternative

I always buy the cheaper brands of tablets, after seeing some TV show that said there's no difference in ingredients, you're just paying for the name

These could come in handy when we all get the spicy mexican pork fajita flu that is doing the rounds...
