I have always been one of those people that would rather die than take a tablet for any of my illnesses and although I am still rather reluctant these days, I do actually take one or two if I need to. You see have I two young boys under the age of two and half so if I get a headache then I just can't cope with having a thudding head and meeting my ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Well its just Ibuprofen! (244 words)
by - written on 15/04/09 (Very useful, 46 readings)
Rating:

Basically this is Ibuprofen!!! 200mg which is the same as you get in more "expensive" Ibuprofen!! I don't believe in spending coming up to £5 on 16 tablets for a headache! Especially not when I get them once a week with the sun!!! So, I always buy the cheap ones from Asda and have a packet in my bag at all times just incase! ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Asda Ibuprofen: Ibuprofen - Nuff said. (283 words)
by - written on 14/04/09 (Very useful, 57 readings)
Rating:

I suffer from quite bad tooth aches recently (mainly due to a wisdom tooth coming in) and I normally combine one of these with one paracetemol to help try and clear the pain. I purchased 16 caplets for 30g from Asda recently, in the Chemist section, and whilst I normally wouldn't scrimp on medicines I felt that it was certainly worth a ...  Read the complete review

When a headache or the likes comes on I have to reach for Ibuprofen as I cannot take paracetomal or many other pain killers. For a long time I just went straight to Boots the chemist for my Ibuprofen but no longer. After seeing that Asda have their own make of Ibuprofen, which will of course not actually be made by Asda but ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Asda Ibuprofen: Cheap and makes you cheerful (414 words)
by - written on 07/04/09 (Very useful, 36 readings)

This review is on Asda Ibuprofen Tablets and not the Capsules as are indicated in the picture above. I often get bad headaches, probably due to my excessive use of the computer and watching TV! I know it's bad but I do take painkillers quite regularly to get rid of these annoying aches and pains and the branded ones are just too ...  Read the complete review

For years I suffered with headaches on a regular basis, and found my mum's paracetomal did nothing for them. Then, one day, a friend gave me a nurofen tablet and the headache just went: result! I bought those for a few years until I got a bit budget conscious and had a look at the ingredients, where I found I could get pretty much the same thing ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Asda Ibuprofen: Headache Eliminators! Ibuprofen CAPSULES (539 words)
by - written on 26/02/09 (Very useful, 89 readings)
Rating:

The product I am reviweing comes under this category but it is not the same as the product pictured, as the ones I buy have the colourful plastic coating. The box pictured shows the 200mg Caplets whereas I am talking about the 200mg Capsules. The difference is that the caplets are just the chalky white tablet (which if you don't manage to swallow ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Cheap pain relief. (295 words)
by - written on 08/07/08 (Very useful, 57 readings)
Rating:

I like to always have a few painkillers in the drawer so that if I or anyone else in the house has need for them they are always available. I don't bother buying expensive brand names, what is the point in paying extra when all you are really paying for is the name? Ibuprofen is more effective for most problems than paracetamol and ...  Read the complete review
