I really do not like taking paracetamol as I find it really difficult to swallow them, however like everyone, on occasion such as a bad headache or sore throat, paracetamol is the only thing to take to help with the pain. Recently with both my husband and I having a bad cold we seemed to run out of paracetamol and so after placing an online order with Asda, I decided to give their range of paracetamol a go. The packaging of this pack of 500mg paracetamol capsules with currently costs 36p for a pack of 16, has change slightly from that pictured above. It states on the front of the box that these tablets offer 'relief from mild to moderate ...  Read the complete review

A good cheaper alternative - Asda Paracetamol Capsules (584 words)

Asda Paracetamol Capsules The majority of the time we usually do our weekly shop at Tesco, mostly because it is the closest store to us, however, at the weekend we were visiting some relatives and we passed an Asda. Personally, I always like to have paracetamol and ibuprofen in the medicine drawer because you never know when you might just need something to help clear up (usually in my case) a headache. There is nothing worse than being in pain and then realising that there is nothing to help alleviate it currently in the house. This weekend I was suffering from toothache thanks to a pesky wisdom tooth trying to claw its way up to claim its place in my ...  Read the complete review

Asda Paracetamol Capsules: Not all paracetamol are created equal (614 words)

I suffer with headaches and migraine, although thankfully now I'm getting older the headaches don't often develop into a fully blown migraine providing I take pain relief as soon as I feel one building up. Consequently I have a bathroom cabinet chock full of pain killers, with the good old fashioned paracetamol tablet taking pride of place as it's basically a cure-all treatment providing the pain isn't too severe. I've never been loyal to any one brand of paracetamol, thinking that they all do the same job and therefore the very cheapest will do. Not so, as I discovered after purchasing these Paracetamol Capsules from Asda last weekend. At 45p they are more ...  Read the complete review

A review thats easy to swallow! (471 words)

I have always been someone who struggles to take tablets, with me finally managing as an adult, after years of dissolvable tablets. I ten to veer towards ibuprofen due to the fact they are better for my period pains and also because they come sugar coated, making them easier to swallow. After going shopping recently, my darling husband (who was having a night on the razz, and must have anticipated a bit of a sore head the following day!), threw a box of Asda's paracetamol capsules into the trolley, just in case! In fairness the next day we were both a little worse for wear, so after I looked in the cupboard I realised these were the only ...  Read the complete review

Asda Paracetamol Capsules: Pain busting on the cheap? (488 words)

Suffering with back pain and headaches rather too often for my liking I do tend to buy alot of shops own (because they tend to be cheaper) paracetamol's. I have them scattered all over the place actually and these costing 40p for 16 capsules seemed good value for money to me. The Packaging: Silver and blue box and on the front of it I am told that they are Asda Paracetamol 500mg Capsules and that there are 16 in the box and that they are for 'The effective relief of headaches, migraine, neuralgia and period pain' and that they are easy to swallow. On the back of the box other information includes being told again what they are good for (Colds, ...  Read the complete review
