Advantages: Effective, easy to take

Disadvantages: Not for children, or those with stomach ulcers

If ever I have a cold, headache, period pains, aching joints etc I prefer to rely on the good old aspirin as a form of pain relief.
It is the most effective form for me and for so many other people.
It relieves inflamation, reduces temperatures, decreases pain and in my opinion works so much better than paracetamol or other brand name pain killing drugs.
I know it is not recomended for people who suffer from stomach ulcers, but it is widely used in small doses by people who have had strokes and heart attacks as a preventative medicine.
In tablet form or soluable it removes pain quickly and easily.
It is not recommended for children under the age of 10 though.
