I use the Avon Sleep Therapy Pillow mist most nights and have it in my head that it works. I love the scent as well. I am going to try the shower gel sometime and have bought the Sleep balm a few Avon Campaigns ago.
I believe the balm normally costs £3, but with Avon every other book you can get it on offer. In the book I bought it in, it cost £1.50 for the 10ml tub.
The tub is alright. It is a thich sturdy plastic which is see-through and you can see the cream coloured balm through the sides. It has a white screw lid and it has the label on the lid, wich is a nice picture of the blue sky, some clouds and the product name.
How to use it on the base of the product, and it says that you apply to your pulse points eg wrists and temples before bed for a restful night. It doesn't say if you have to apply this thick, or sparingly, or so long before bed.
When I first started using this. I think I was applying too much. It wasn't long before I was getting the odd big angry looking spot at my temples, and I found my wrists quite greasy in the morning and the perfume didn't want to stick. I now just apply a smear of this to my wrists.
So does it work? Not sure. Perhaps it is psychological. I tend to sleep with my wrists near my face, and I can smell the fresh, lavender induced scent when I settle down to sleep. i have had a few good restful sleeps recently, but that could be down to conincident, rather than this product, as I think if it was such a miracle product, then it would be more expensive.
I will buy this again when it finishes, as I like it, and it looks like you get a lot of use for the small price I paid. I recommend the spray as well.
