This is one in a range of products from the Badger company, who specialise in natural body care. The product is organic, it comes in a cute small round tin, not unlike Vaseline and can be found in a lot of high street stores, such as Boots, or on the web. It costs around £5 a tin, and seemingly lasts forever! This particular balm (there are others in the range) is a combination of Rosemary, Ginger, Bergamot, Balsam Fir and Lavender. As with most essential oil products, if you don't like the smell then the intended effects of the product will not work for you. However, it smells divine. I didn't buy my Badgers Sleep Balm- to be honest it would never have crossed my mind to do so. But following my Mother's death, a close friend bought it for me. It is on sale in Boots for just over £4 but no doubt online you can get it cheaper. Now I cannot say that it worked for me straight away- but that really isn't surprising given the emotional place I was at- I couldn't even sleep with the light off. I have worked night shift for nearly four years now, but my shift pattern is a little bit odd, as I also do one day shift a week too. As I'm sure you can imagine, working such strange hours can totally mess up your sleeping pattern, and although after all this time I've just about managed to sort it out, there are still the odd days when things get messed up and I can't sleep.
