Advantages: The gels are painless

Disadvantages: Did not work for me

One day I noticed I had a verruca under my foot. I bought this as the Wartner is way to expensive I paid £5.29 for the normal treatment in the purple/blue packaging. My pack lasted about 6 weeks applying it every night. Bazuka is supposed to seal over the verruca or wart in order to help reduce the spread of the infection. Bazuka is simple to use however children should not apply it themselves. The only annoying thing is waiting around for it to dry before I could do anything. The information given in the packaging is easy to understand and therefore anybody would find it easy to use. Bazuka can be used for all ages however it can not be used by diabetics and can only used by preganant women with permission from a doctor. It is difficult to tell between Warts, Verrucas, Corns and Calluses so Bazuka reccommend you should get a diagnosis before using treatment. Unfortunatly Bazuka did not work for me and they just spread as well and then I had 5 more verrucas.

I went to my doctor to ask if he could do something about it and he told me to try the extra strength gel which cost £5.86 from boots. The extra strength gel lasted for just 4 weeks as I had more of them by then. However they still did not go away. I went back to my doctor and he said he would freeze them but that did not work either.

Im currently using the vinegar method were you use apple cider vinegar and cover it with either a plaster or duck tape over night. Finally something is working for me they are supposed to go black by a week and then use a pumice stone and one of them has already gone.

I tried both the normal Bazuka and the extra strength gel and neither worked but since I started a new treatment Bazuka have brought out a new Bazuka sub-zero which is similar to what the doctor would use which costs £12.67 from boots. Sub-zero is to be used on more stubborn verrucas and is suitable for all ages except children under 4 and can me painful. Having never tried this treatment I cannot give any opinion in it.

All verrucas are different and different peoples bodies react differently. My brother had a verruca a few years ago and his disappeared with bazuka. What im saying is that different methods work for different people but this is a good treatment if it works for you and is quick and painfree. The only thing is I wouldn't reccommend going somewhere like Scholl as they charge a lot of money one I went to was asking £70 to remove my verrucas better of trying your doctor or the different treatments available in the pharmacy or home remedies.

Summary: Everybody is different and different treatments work for different people

Disappointing when these treatments don't work but at least you managed to get rid of yours through other means.
