Bazuka gel,

Dear parents,
Please treat your child’s verruca and warts. A verruca is a wart, a wart found on the foot. Verruca’s are contagious the best place to catch verruca’s is in the P E or swimming changing area. “Johnny” probably got it cos someone-else’s little darling has one that is not being treated.

A verruca is caused by the papilloma virus, which gets into a cut
The way to tell a verucca this area will be painful when pressure put on it. It forms a sore spot. An area where the skin pattern on the foot is absent and a dark centre a wart looks more like a cauliflower usually raised above the skin.
If in doubt about your child’s condition see your G P.

Since your child has 3 sessions a week in the PE and swimming area please would you treat your child’s foot and send verrucca socks into school for your child to wear. (I am fed up with catching your child’s nasty illnesses) and please will you send plimsolls for use in the gym.

One thing we would recommend for treating verrucca’s is Bazuka gel. (No finding a frog in the school pond and rubbing it on the wart is not a way to get rid of the wart nor is rubbing it with a cut potato) This gel is available in chemists and in our local Tesco . So it should not be too difficult to get.

It is expensive I know about £5.00 a little over in fact and you only get a tiny tube. Unless treated the verruca or wart could stay and be a problem for many years.

Now to treat your verruca

First wash and dry the verruca . Use a towel or flannels only for that verruca do not let anyone else use it or use it on the other foot.

To apply Bazuka
1) Just remove the cap and get the gel ready to apply per instructions on the package.
2) Squeeze a tiny spot of gel onto the verruka do not use too much. Let this dry to make a white skin over wart
3) Every evening remove
this white patch and reapply.
4) Once A week use the emery board to remove the dead skin on the verruca.
Depending on the wart /verricca this may take weeks to clear the wart.
These warts are highly contagious do not share towels or washing sponges etc

Always read the instructions on the product before use. Read the warning info. As this is not suitable for diabetic patients unless under medical supervision

A useful site is www.bazuka.co.uk giving lot of info on warts and verrucca’s.
For people who do not wish to use animal products this is fine, as it contains no animal products.
Thank you for you understand, please check your kid’s feet and remove their verrucas,

(An aside to teaching colleagues hope Johnny’s mum and dad read this I get fed up with getting verrucas its expensive)
