A good nasal spray for instant relief (Beconase)

Advantages: Instant relief for hayfever symptoms in the nose

Disadvantages: Quite pricey if you use every day

Although I am a long-term sufferer from hayfever, the symptoms have dimished over the years and as I have got older. I now tend to rely upon an antihistemene and olbas oil. However, when the pollen count is really high and you are really suffering then Beconase Nasal Spray is the stuff to take.

The great advantage of this product is that it provides instant relief as it directly targets the problem area. If you've got a sneezing fit or your nose just won't stop streaming then a couple of blasts of this stuff into both nostrils will help straightaway. The biggest challenge then is to not sneeze at all for a few minutes otherwise you're just removing the stuff out of your nose before it has a chance to work properly.

It's non drowsy so no problems with taking it at work or when driving. The blurb on the packet advises you to take it regularly morning and evening every day and I'm sure that's the way to get the full benefit of the product. However, if like me, your antihistemenes are doing the job and you just want a product to give your medication a boost when things are bad then this product is worth a try for you too.

Finally, just to say that apparently this stuff is for adults only. If you're under 18 then this is not the product for you.
