I have had a rotten cold since last tuesday, i must admit i never seem to escape a winter without a few colds but this one has been bad, if it wasnt that i had so much to get done ready for my daughters birthday party next week end i would possibly have curled up in bed and stayed there. That's it, I have finally succumbed and bought some Beechams Flu Plus Caplets upon the recommendation of a friend. The sneezing started 3 days ago and the combination of a runny and blocked nose a day later but when the thumping headache started yesterday I gave in and what a relief these tablets have been. I haven't got a sore throat although my glands are up but the tight knot in my chest and the occasional 'flemmy' cough are very much apparant..........what an attractive picture of myself I am painting!
