I have had a rotten cold since last tuesday, i must admit i never seem to escape a winter without a few colds but this one has been bad, if it wasnt that i had so much to get done ready for my daughters birthday party next week end i would possibly have curled up in bed and stayed there.

Wholst in poundland getting the balloons and banners ready for the party i spotted a packet of beechams cold and flu hot blackcurrants and thought yes please i realy need them.

Bechams cold and flu hot blackcurrant came in a cardboard box containing five sachets of powder to make the drinks.

They are designed to be non drowsey but i dont realy know as they are as i have felt that washed out anyway due to this cold i couldnt realy tell.

There are full instructions on the box, they are suitable for people over the age of 12 years and can be drank every 4 to 6 hours.

They contain paracetamol so you cant take anything else containing paracetamol wholst using these.

All you need to do is put one sachet in a mug and add hot water, allow to cool and drink. They dont taste too bad as far as medicins go but they do have a powdery taste to them but when you are feeling as ill as me you wont care about this.

These drinks worked wanders, they got my temperature back down to normal, got rid of my headache and helped with my sore throat.

They also claim to help unblock your nose and relieve painfull sinuses but they didnt do this for me and now i have a sinus infection but i think that is more due to my sinuses being at fault than the medication itself.

I would seriously recomend these to anyone with a cold as the reliefe they offer is great.
