Having just had a fortnight off work, those nasty little germs have seen me drop my guard just a little, and have seized the opportunity to enter my system. As a result, on my first day back in the office, I came down with a typical "summer cold". It is not too bad, as these things go - mainly nose, throat and head. It certainly couldn't be categorised as flu.....It really is "just a cold". I do, however, want something that will just help take the edge off the "fuzziness" that I have that typically accompanies a cold like this. My nose hurts, and my throat hurts, and I want to be able to get through my days at ... Read the complete review

I recently had a really horrible bout of flu; I've had cold before but this was horrendous and so the other half was sent off to the chemist with a wad of cash, (we all know how expensive these "remedies" can be), and instructions to "get me stuff to make me feel better". He came home with soft tissues, cough sweets and a packet of "Beechams Flu Plus Caplets". Beechams Flu Plus Caplets come in a little cardboard box with all the necessary warnings and advice. Inside the box are 2 blister packs each containing 8 caplets. Caplets are basically torpedo shaped tablets and I really do find them easier to swallow than round tablets ... Read the complete review

I first used Beechams flu plus tablets about 4 years ago when I was suffering with a terrible bout of the flu. I visited my chemist and asked advise on what the best remedy would be to help ease my symptoms, he advised me to try Beechams flu plus, I cant remember how much they cost me back then but now they retail at £4.99 for a box of 24, so they are expensive but they are well worth the money. They come in a blue and red box with the Beechams logo on the front and the picture of two tablets. It states that they are flu plus caplets and help to relieve Fever, aches & pains, sinus pain, blocked nose, headaches and that they are non drowsy. It also ... Read the complete review

I have a terrible cold and I am feeling very sorry for myself! I am lucky enough to have a chemist just down the road and went in to buy something to try and make myself feel better. (I did want some Nurofen cold and flu tablets - these are amazing, but alas! they had none in stock) Feeling rather icky and desperate to feel better, I settled for some Beechams Flu tablets. They come in a red and blue pack. There are 16 in the pack (8 in each blister pack, two blister packs in a box) and they cost £4.99. What the box says... ------------------------------ Beechams Capsules provide rapid and effective relief from the major cold ... Read the complete review
