I recently bought some new shoes, and after wearing them for the first time one foot was rubbing and cut into the back of my foot. I really wanted to heal it quickly as I needed to wear the shoes again, so I went on a hunt for a good antiseptic cream in Tesco. The ream comes in a blue box with the Germolene title on the front, along ... Read the complete review

Germolene is an antiseptic ointment cream to put on burns, cuts, grazes, blisters and sunburn/sore skin. It cost about £1.60 and it a well known branded product that can be bought from Boots/supermarkets etc. There are two versions, the normal version and the anaesthetic version. The anaesthetic one is definatley the best; it has four types of ... Read the complete review

Germolene always takes me back to those times in the school playground when you had scraped your knees and the dinner lady or teacher would produce this tub of magic pink cream! The smell alone is enough to make me five years old again! Germolene is an antiseptic cream a bit like savlon but it has the added advantage of containing local ... Read the complete review

In my house we believe in Sudcream for everything! However the other day I had a nasty fall in the street. For no apparent reason one moment I was up on my feet and the next I had fallen in a pile of gravel! Not only did I graze both of my hands and my knee, I split open my elbow which poured of blood (all over my fave cream cardie!) and bruised ... Read the complete review

Growing up Germolene was always in our household, part of the family I suppose you could say. So when I flew the nest and shacked up with future hubby it appeared in our house too (along with cushions and throws but that's another story). So what is it?~ Germolene is an antiseptic cream which can be used by all the family, though I never ... Read the complete review

Germoline is sort of a mixture between Savlon and Deep Heat. Quite a clever idea but for me, not one that comes off. For those unfamiliar with either Savlon or Deep Heat, by this I mean Germolene feels like a cross between a high quality antiseptic cream and a pain relief cream. The reason this combination doesn't seem to come off is ... Read the complete review

I'm a finger chewer. OK, OK, I know, the habit is absolutely disgusting and I'm the first to admit it, but these habits forged in childhood are hard to break... Anyway, this rambling is merely to give you some background for just how good Germolene ointment is. When I've really gone for the old fingers and they're covered in horrible ... I remember Germolene from my childhood days. It came in a round tin with a push off lid. The smell was like 'hospitals' to me and the ointment itself was bright pink and sticky. I have just rediscovered this antiseptic cream as Germolene Antiseptic Wipes made by Bayer.. These are just as effective as the cream but a lot more ... Read the complete review

This is an antiseptic cream and a works as a local anaesthetic. It is easily absorbed, you simply rub gently onto the area required, but make sure you have washed it first, to get rid of any natsy dirt and germs. It is suitable for: * cuts and grazes (really good if you have a young child always faling over!) * Stings ... Read the complete review

Germolene Cream, which has antiseptic and local anaesthetic properties, is a godsend in my house, we refer to it as Magic Cream. I grew up with it, but when I was small it didn’t come in tubes, it was in a circular tin, with a push on lid, which you could never get off easily, especially in an emergency. The colour was different too; it ... Read the complete review
