Advantages: Cured my cold.

Just as summer starts to show some hope of starting, I get a cold. I never get colds in the winter but oh no, when summer is here...!!
Anyway, after a day of suffering I decided I couldn't go on any longer and resorted to 'splashing out' on these, they are quite expensive, but decided it would be worth it if it meant I could smell again!
After taking the daytime ones I honestly couldn't tell much difference, my headache had been relieved slightly, but nothing more. I took the night time tablets with the hope they would knock me out at 9pm, they didn't. I was up for another 2 hours before I finally fell off to sleep (thinking i'd wasted my money).
But, when I woke up, I was amazed I felt 'normal'! I almost forgot that i'd even had a cold the day before.
Comparing the ingredients in these tablets to other similar but cheaper remedies, there really wasn't a difference that I could see. The only thing that I think works for these tablets is that the night tablets are drowsy thus suposedly make you fall asleep, and we all know that sleeping usually gets rid of the worst of a cold.
A cheaper solution to these tablets would be to buy normal paracetamol for the daytime and drowsy paracetamol for the night - problem solved for 1/4 of the price!
This pack of tablets costs around £4 and is available in all major chemists.
I think these are quite expensive, but they did (or seemed to) get rid of my cold in 24 hours! I'll report back next time I have a cold!

Summary: Other product are cheaper and would probably do the same job.
