Advantages: Excellent relief for colds and flu

Disadvantages: Even the non drowsy make you feel tired

These are cold/flu cures that nothing else even comes close too!

I'm sure everyone has suffered from these symptoms at some stage and maybe has felt like having a day off work to recover, but sometimes yu can't and you have to get up and struggle on regardless of how bad you feel.

This is where Day Nurse comes in. Pop a couple of these before you set off and by the time you get to work you'll feel much better (although not totally cured obviously). Having said that, I think if you took a couple of paracetemol you'd get the same effect as some of the 'healing' must be psycological. The packet says 'non-drowsy', but if you're feeling under the weather anyway, two of these and you may as well go home.

For those of us that suffer the symptoms during the night too, there is Night Nurse. Personally, I absolutely swear by this because there is nothing worse than waking up several times during the night with a bad throat, having to blow your nose or coughing (sometimes all three). This is where Night Nurse comes into it's own. Powerful enough to tackle these symptoms and give you a much needed nights sleep.

I find though, that Night Nurse is much more powerful than they let on. The dosage advises 2 capsules before bedtime - I have done this and it knocks me for six leaving me totally lethargic in the morning. I take one capsule and find this works equally as well, although we are all different and this might just be the way I am.

Either way, these are two products that no bathroom cabinet should be without.
