This is because bottles are often not properly labelled. You may pick up a bottle labelled 'Birch' and assume that it isn't Sweet Birch (the toxic kind). This could cause problems. This is White Birch: You can use this oil to combat dry skin, dandruff as well as fungal infections. The reports show that it can also help with fluid retention, I have yet to find this to be true! (I drink far too much coffee!) Ideally this one is more suitable for massages. This is yet another product that claims to break down the cellulite if massaged into the thighs and buttocks.
