I have tried a huge amount of bite creams and this seems to be the best all rounder for me. I suffer very badly from bites, I tend to get bitten and the skin around swells and goes red, it's always very itchy and I have to have real self control not to scratch them raw. This cream really helps a lot, I have tried many hoping for relief and when you don't get it it's incredibly annoying, so this product is definitely worth the money. It is a boots own product. It costs about £3.00 for 20g and it comes in a cream form. The packaging is bright orange and it can be found with all the insect repellants in the shop. The cream ... Read the complete review

*Mosquitoes, I hate you* At the beginning of May my Girlfriend and I went to Zakynthos. I'm somewhat petrified of mosquitoes and while May is early for them, I'm very much of the 'better safe than sorry' camp. As anyone who's ever been used a mosquito snack can confirm, the bites from these little monsters can itch for weeks! *Liposuction - apparently it's not just for people these days!* As well as sun tan lotion with a liberal amount of insecticide, I decided to pick up some sting relief cream. Upon returning home from Boots with my initial choice (a quick relief 'pen' type applicator), I was somewhat shocked to see that it contained ... Read the complete review

===A Home and Away Summer Essential === In preparation for my recent holiday in western Scotland, I bought a tube of this cream from our local Boots store for the price of £3.39. As it's a fairly small branch there weren't too many products to choose from and I thought this looked a fairly safe bet. Knowing that bites often come up huge on me, I felt that the antihistamine properties would be beneficial. From past experience I'm only too aware that insects seem to find me tasty, and I thought it was wise to be prepared against the infamous Scottish midge and any other beasties that fancied taking a nibble. Fortunately I was only bitten once on holiday, and ... Read the complete review

Intro ------ I had the unfortunate pleasure of using this product a few weeks ago after a particularly hungry mosquito decided it liked the look of my left leg. After a few days i really started to notice the itch, and the swelling, so i decided to go and investigate in my top drawer, and see what i could find to solve the problem! Fortunately, i found this! Ease of use --------------- The product is massively easy to use. All you have to do is put some of the cream on to your finger and then massage it into the painful areas. At first, it does leave a bit of a sting with you, but this soon settles ... Read the complete review

In our opinion this Bite and Sting relief Cream from Boots is a complete and utter waste of money. It was not cheap - it cost us £3.99 for a very small 20g tube and it was actually recommended to us by the pharmacist in Boots as an itch relief remedy for our little lad - we bought it for him about a year ago when he was five and we had been on a holiday where he had suffered from a lot of midges biting him and he just could not stop scratching at the spots. The pharmacist advised us to gently rub this into his skin up to three times a day for a few days and gradually the itch woudl subside. It was white cream and quite a thick consistency but rubbed in to the ... Read the complete review
