 ... just feels like a strong tissue to me. I have recently used the Tesco own brand ultra balm tissues and they feel a lot softer than these Boots ones. After the Tesco tissues the Boots ones feel a little rough for my liking. They are still softer than normal tissues but not in the league of Tesco. ***Price*** At £1.89 for a pack of six and around 80p for a single pack from Boots they are good value for money but if I had the choice I would choose Tescos....more

As it is hayfever season I am never without tissues and last time I was in Boots I picked up a packet of these tissues to keep in my handbag. As I know I will have to spend a lot of my time blowing my nose I try and go for ultra balm tissues or super soft ones as they feel a little bit more gentle on my skin. ***The packaging*** The tissues come in a standard small tissue pack with a green and blue design. I often shop in Boots as I like their own brands and tissues are one of the things I favour from Boots because they are good value for money and they are also good quality. If I ever need a tissue with a protective balm then I will often opt for Boots own brand because I find the ones that are impregnated with the Olbas oil ca be a little bit too strong in fragrance for my personal liking. These are coated in a soothing balm but the smell is really minimal, in fact, it's very hard to tell it's there at all and the reason I like these is because the protective coating balm is gentle on my skin and sore nose, rather than for emitting a menthol fragrance.
