... bright red on the front. When I got it home I removed my clothing so I wouldn't get spray all over it and applied the heat to my leg where I had the muscle pain. The smell you get from the spray is really overwhelming, it is a very strong kind of medical smell but it really gets down your throat and up your nose and is not that pleasant. The tine says it contains denatured ethanol blended with wintergreen, oils and spices. I had never heard of wintergreen before so looked it up on the internet and it is an oil u...more

C.M.S Wintergreen Heat Spray: I'm burning up? (487 words)
by - written on 17/12/10 (Very useful, 98 readings)

Suffering aches and pains caused by sciatica and slipped discs as I do I am constantly on the look out for things to help with said aches and pains. I recently wrote a review on the sister product of this which is a freeze spray and told the story about seeing someone stock up with cans of this and the freeze spray in Wilkinsons. Because she was buying so many cans I didn't want to miss a trick and she enthused about this stuff to me which meant I purchased a couple of cans of both the heat spray and the freeze spray at the same time with really high hopes for it all. The Packaging: The can is white and bright red and has a pull on/off plastic red ...  Read the complete review

Poooooooh! Stinky! (364 words)

The C.M.S Wintergreen Heat Spray was one of those purchases I made due to a discovery online. I have seen similar 'Deep Heat' style products at discounted prices and at the time I decided to give this 150ml spray can a try for only £1. Often I have endured long shifts of manual labour which tends to magnify aches and pains in the muscles. I use these types of products to give temporary respite from the strains and the instant relief is what attracts me to such products. Similar products are sold in various forms, such as creams and ...  Read the complete review

I have been plagued with muscle and joint problems over the last few years and have been trying out all different kinds of gels, sprays, heat pads, everything I can find to help me get some welcome relief from the pain. I had run out of my normal spray and went in to Wilkinson's to get something but I realised I didn't have enough money on me to buy my normal one and this Wintergreens Heat Spray was only £1 so I bought that instead. The spray is in a similar kind of tin, it would be quite easy to spot on the shelf, it has a bright red lid and a picture of the back of a mad also in bright red on the front. When I got it ...  Read the complete review

I will never be without this again (164 words)

Yes, it reeks, my house reeks - but oh the bliss of the instant relief from the tearing, grinding muscle spasm in my lower back after a foolish movement across the bed which left me screaming in agony as I tried to move ... An hour after the first (shockingly cold) application, I was able to sit, then stand, then shuffle then walk ... the following day I was able to travel from Cambridgeshire to France, pulling a small suitcase. A twinge the next morning led to a further application and the can is now on standby in the medicine cabinet. The last time I "put my back out" the pain and mobility problems lasted three weeks!
