when i.m constipated which quite often,i take a laxative i have tried many different laxatives They all work,some better than others.then i tried califig california syrup of fig with senna.an effective natural fruit laxative.an adult dose is 15-30ml[1 to 2 tablespoonsful]

i usually take a laxative once a week.i take 2 tablespoonsful of califig.i find it very effective in relieving constipation,with no discomfort.Taken at bedtime it works overnight,giving 3or 4 bowel movements the next morning,so keep near a toilet for 2 or 3 hours,after which you should feel very relieved.califig can be bought from any chemist and supermarkets even the corner shop.

califig is sold in 110ml or 55ml bottles £2.46 for a 110ml bottle and £2.55 for a 55ml bottle,i would certainly recommend califig syrup of figs with senna,the almost perfect laxative that gives gentle highly effective relief from constipation.Do not take if you are experiencing severe abdominal pain,have sudden changes in bowel habits,or are anorexic.
