Advantages: The relief - the sweeeeet relief!

I never knew what thrush was until I was about 16 an d suffered my first bout when I was on a course of antibiotics.

Anyone who has ever had it will know just how uncomfortable it is and anyone who has not had it is very lucky!

I went to my mum very confused about the pain and extreme itching/sore feeling and (after explaining about thrush) she took me up to the Chemist and introduced me to Canesten. I chose the Duo (oral medicine and external cream), which cost about £11 and rushed back home.

They do several variations of the product including external and internal cream and pessary.

I was initially put off my the small tube of cream - and felt a little ripped off. I soon discovered however, that a little goes a long long way!

In the privacy of my bathroom I read through the instruction leaflet - very easy to understand.

The relief was so immense once the cream had started to work that I immediately burst into tears! The pill began to work within a few hours but the cream kept everything soothed.

I think this is a genuine must have for any females medicine cupboard!

Summary: Best £11 spent. EVER
