... am a regular thrush sufferer especially when pregnant. My mother was also I think it may be a slight hereditory conditon and its caused by bacteia in the lower region. This has to be one of the most uncomfortable problems that you can get and can take a while to clear up. It has not yet been proven that the oral tablet works so that I would advise to stay clear of. ... wont go into the details of thrush as they are outlined in other reviews. I am a seasoned thrush sufferer- have it quite regularly throughout the year, and have done for the last 7 or so years. I'd recently been on a course of antibiotics (a thrush trigger) and could feel the familiar downstairs feeling starting to occur. I always have canesten cream in the house for when i begin to feel 'thrushy', but i usually use a pessary for when it becomes desperate!
